The brief
A private oceanfront residence on the Wailuku shoreline: a three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath main home and a one-bedroom guest cottage, set on four and a half acres facing the sea.
The build
Breen Builders built the property from the ground up, beginning with overgrown, empty land. The site was cleared and shaped before the main home and cottage took form, each oriented to the shoreline, with a wraparound lanai and broad windows that bring the ocean into the main living spaces.
The result
Completed in 2020, the estate pairs bright, open living spaces with uninterrupted views of the coastline and the West Maui Mountains.
