Breen Builders LLC holds Hawaii contractor license BC-24202, issued by the Hawaii Contractors License Board.
License BC-24202
One license with four classifications: B general building, C-17 excavating, grading and trenching, C-31 masonry, and C-51 tile. Under Hawaii rules, a B license also carries ten specialty classifications, listed below.

BGeneral building contractor
A contractor whose principal business is in connection with any structure built, being built, or to be built, for the support, shelter, and enclosure of persons, animals, chattels, or movable property of any kind, requiring in its construction the use of more than two unrelated building trades or crafts, or to do or superintend the whole or any part thereof.
Hawaii Revised Statutes §444-7(c). This covers new homes, remodels, additions and commercial build-outs, and lets Breen Builders manage every trade on a project.
- C-5Cabinet, millwork, and carpentry remodeling and repairsTo install cabinets, cases, sashes, doors, trims, or nonbearing partitions that become a permanent part of structure, and to remodel or to make repairs to existing buildings or structures, or both.
- C-6Carpentry framingTo do wood and metal framing, siding, wood truss, roof sheathing, and other work as is by custom and usage accepted in the construction industry as carpentry framing.
- C-10ScaffoldingTo erect or dismantle scaffolds.
- C-12DrywallTo layout and install nonstructural metal studs, channel and joist framing systems, and all types of gypsum wallboard systems, including the taping and texturing operations incidental thereto.
- C-24Building moving and wreckingTo move, post, or demolish structures including removal of debris, and to dismantle or free specific portions of a structure in order that it can be raised and moved.
- C-25Institutional and commercial equipmentTo install institutional and commercial equipment such as laboratory equipment, lockers, food services equipment, folding and sliding partitions, stationary metal partitions, raised floor systems and stages.

- C-32aWood and vinyl fencingTo install, maintain, or repair wood or vinyl fencing.
- C-42aAluminum and other metal shinglesTo install aluminum and other types of metal shingles so that an acceptable watertight surface is obtained.

Hawaii Administrative Rules §16-77-32(c): B licensees automatically hold these specialty classifications.
- C-17Excavating, grading, and trenching contractorTo dig, move, and place earthen material for a cut, fill, grade, or trench, including the use of explosives in connection therewith.
- C-31Masonry contractorTo lay brick and other baked clay products, rough or cast stone, marble, granite, or any decorative plaster, cut and dressed stone, artificial stone and brick veneer, CMU, and structural glass, brick or block, laid with or without mortar or adhesives, manufactured precast concrete facing and back-up panels and brick or block panel.
- C-51Tile contractorTo prepare the base upon which ceramic, mosaic, granite, terrazzo, and other tile work, including all pseudo tile and marble or cultured marble products, will adhere by suction, fasteners, or by adhesives.
