This policy explains what information Breen Builders, LLC (“Breen Builders,” “we,” “us”) collects through breenbuilders.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies only to this Site, not to information we collect offline or under a construction contract.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use our contact form, email us or call us, we receive what you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number, the type of project you are planning and your message.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site and the services that run it record basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the site that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. We use Google Analytics, which uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this information and help us understand how visitors use the Site.

How we use information

• To respond to your inquiry and discuss, estimate or plan your project.
• To operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site.
• To understand how visitors find and use the Site.
• To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry messages for as long as needed to respond and to keep reasonable business records, and longer if you become a client or the law requires it. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no website or transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information you have given us by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law, and we will respond to requests as that law requires.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

The Site may link to other websites and social media profiles, such as Instagram and LinkedIn. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

These terms govern your use of breenbuilders.com (the “Site”), operated by Breen Builders, LLC. By using the Site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

About the Site

The Site provides general information about Breen Builders and our work. Nothing on the Site is an offer, bid, estimate or contract. Any construction services are provided only under a separate written agreement signed by Breen Builders and the client, and that agreement governs the work. Breen Builders, LLC holds Hawaii contractor license BC-24202, issued under the name Breen Builders LLC.

Using the Site

You may use the Site for lawful, personal and business purposes. You agree not to misuse it, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, sending spam or harmful code through the contact form, or copying the Site's content in bulk by automated means.

Content and photographs

The Site's text, photographs, logos and design are owned by Breen Builders or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Some photographs show clients' homes and businesses. You may not copy, reproduce or republish Site content without our written permission, other than sharing a link to the Site.

Information you send us

Please provide accurate information when you contact us. Sending an inquiry does not create a contractor–client relationship, and please do not send confidential information you would not want us to receive before we have an agreement. Our privacy policy explains how we handle what you send.

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.

Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Project photographs and descriptions illustrate past work and are not a promise of any particular design, price, schedule or result. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Breen Builders, its owners and employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Site. This section does not limit any rights or obligations under a signed construction agreement.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Breen Builders against claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Hawaii, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
